Wireless Solutions Topic: Can Wireless Devices Be Used For Control?

FAQ No. FAQ01247

Question

Can wireless devices also be used for control?

Answer

1. They cannot be used for applications that require high speed (i.e., realtime response). Jamming or other factors in the environment may result in extra time to search for available frequencies or to retry communications.

2. They are not recommended for hoists, cranes, or other applications that may prose problems for product liability.
