Question
Why do I get no output from the
S3D2-AK[]/-CK[]/-CC[] Sensor Controller?
There is one Sensor connected.
Answer
If the Sensor appears to be operating normally, that is, if the operation
indicator turns ON and OFF correctly when detecting a sensing object, it
is possible that the S3D2's settings are the problem.
Try setting the signal input selector for the side on which no Sensor is
connected to INV (inverse). If this setting is not made, the S3D2 will not
produce an output, and the OUT indicator will not turn ON.
In this condition, the indicator on the INV side will turn ON.
With the S3D2-CK[] or S3D2-CC[], the Sensor should operate by setting the
AND/OR operation selector to the OR side.
Use these methods to check the Sensor.
