Our Challenges

 

Omron’s AOI Group offers a wide range of solutions from a semi-automated table-top to a fully automated inspection equipment to integrate into the production system. All of our systems adopted patented color highlight technologies which allows for easy and accurate inspection. This has put our fist firmly in the PCB industry as one of the leading AOI system in the growing market. Originated from Omron’s Life Science, the first generation of Inspection Equipment is used in measuring blood cell!
With the probability of electronics manufacturing moving to an exclusively lead-free process in the near future, companies are re-evaluating the impact this will have on their “core competencies” i.e. component placement, soldering, reflow, etc”. On hindsight, Omron’s AOI Group assembled a group of researchers and developed a system to meet this new change. This has surely complements Omron’s pledge for continuous improvement.
