RFID System that Visualize Data
Transmission on Production Lines

SEPTEMBER 9, 2008 (ASIA PACIFIC) -
The V680 Series of High Frequency (13.56 Mhz) RFID System falls
within the ISM band and can be easily compliant to most of the
local frequency regulations in Asia Pacific Region.
The RFID reader is designed to conform
to ISO18000-3 standard. Its sophisticated reader design enables
high speed and high reliability performance in harsh and high
temperature working environment. It can also support high
capacity memory up to 32Kbytes of data, to ensure traceability
in FA environment. The 7 built-in maintenance mode enables easy
data transmission visualization. All these functions of V680
Series RFID Reader Writer enable easy
setup and maintenance tasks.
Versatile
Functions for Optimal Use on Production Lines!
The new V680-CH Series Handheld
Reader Writer incorporates a V680 Series 13.56 Mhz Antenna and
Controller into a compact device. Data can be read from or
written to the ID tag simply by approaching or touching the ID
tag with the Hand-held Reader Writer. With compliance to ISO/IEC
18000-3 (ISO/IEC 15693), V680-CH is also equipped with an option
of RS232C or USB interface. Moreover, V680 reader supports V600
Series Protocol, allowing the use with existing systems. V680-CH
Series RFID Reader Writer also conforms to CE and FCC.
Easy Setup! The
RFID System Can Be Used Just Like a Sensor.
V680-HAM81/91 RFID Sensor is
Omron's new sensor that leverage on RFID Technology. Only simple
settings are required to enable the read and write capabilities
with no complex programming needed.
You may select between NPN and PNP open-collector output to
support your host device. Other features include indicators on
the front panel displaying the ambient noise level, access data
and error for easy setup and maintenance. High communication
speed with ID tags is done in 16 bits to read 1KB ID tags in
43ms. Moreover, this RFID Sensor also has the capability to read and write up
to 128bits by using address shift function.
