Programless Communication

Communications with PLCs from OMRON (SYSMAC CS/CJ Series) and Mitsubishi Electric (MELSEC-Q/QnAS Series) can be performed without creating ladder programming.
HFU Advanced Unit automatically performs communications with PLC.

Programless communication enables monitoring and changing of settings for EJ1 simply by reading and writing into PLC memory.
Designing and work hours spent for the programming of communication with PLC during the setup is significantly reduces with programless communications.

Smart Function Block Library

Function Blocks are available to the EJ1 to read and write parameters, such as, Setting SP, Reading PV, RUN/STOP, etc.
Simply paste the Function Block onto the ladder program and assigned the EJ1 unit number and channel number to easily execute the desired function.

Note: Function Block Library support is available only if the CS/CJ series PLC and EJ1 are connected via CompoWay/F.

High-speed Process Control

HFU Advanced unit communicates at a high speed of 115.2kbps to transmit and receive process information with PLC, thus ensuring high-speed temperature and process control and fast response to any alarms.
